| Mt. Vernon takes on Big 8 rival Aurora in the Gary Keeling Invitational tourney, Mt. Vernon goes up 11-9 to end the first quarter and then early in the second falls behind 15-13. With 4:58 left in the 2nd Mt. Vernon gets 3 treys as Ameilia Bramer bookends Daniele Goodman to go up 22-17. The Lady Mountaineers then extend the pressure out to mid-court on defense forcing some turnovers and at the break it was Mt. Vernon by 9 30-21. In the third quarter behind 5 3 pointers, 2 for Jenna Chadd and 3 for Jessica Smith, the Lady Houn's cut the lead to 39-36 to end the third. But the Lady Mountaineers were able to pull it out behind 17 pts from Tamiaya Henderson, and 16 from Amelia Bramer. The Lady Houns were led by Jenna Chadd with 18 points. Mt.
