Branson has scored 45 points in each of the 2 games they've played in the tournament winning 45-38 over Buffalo in round, and tonite Coach Kip Bough thought that may not be enouph against the Lady Houn's of Aurora. Down 3 pts at half 26-23 as both Baylee Hilton and Jenna Chadd hit a pair of 3 pointers for Aurora, Chadd finishing with 19 pts to lead Aurora. But it was the last :29 seconds that decided the game. With the game tied and Branson in possesion, Coach Bough decided to run some :50 seconds off the clock before Moriah Dapprich hit a '22 three pointer. Jenna Chadd was then fouled with 7.4 seconds left hit one of two freethrows to make the score 45-43. Aurora having only commited 4 team fouls was then left to foul 3 times in hopes of getting Branson into a 1 & 1. However while inbounding the ball Branson commited a traveling violation turning the ball over to Aurora. With 2.4 seconds remaining the Lady Houn's were unable to get off a shot. Final score Branson 45 Aurora 43. Michaela Dapprich led Branson with 19 pts while sister Moriah had 12.
